Position: Construction General Manager
Wage: $85,000 annually for 30 Hours per week Job, Extended medical plan including dental plan
Job Duties:
1. Establish the overall objectives, strategic direction, operational policies and annual business plans for the Canadian operations of Jeil Special Canada Inc., in alignment with the parent company's global objectives and Korea headquarters directives, and approve the programs required to implement them.
2. Formulate and approve corporate policies and financial and administrative controls governing the entity's construction and industrial-services operations, including capital allocation, budgeting authority and overall workforce planning.
3. Authorize and organize the establishment of the entity's operational departments and senior/managerial positions; select, appoint and delegate authority to the project managers, site managers and other middle managers who direct day-to-day field execution.
4. Allocate the material, human and financial resources required to mobilize and scale the project workforce — which expands to approximately 60–80 personnel during active project phases — directing those operations through subordinate project managers, site managers and other members of the senior management team rather than through direct supervision of field personnel.
5. Direct, monitor and evaluate, through subordinate managers, the delivery of construction and heavy-equipment / machinery-relocation projects, including organizational performance, project budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, quality standards, and occupational health, safety and environmental compliance with applicable Canadian regulations.
6. Hold signing authority for, and represent the company in, the negotiation and award of major (multi-million-dollar) industrial construction and service contracts in Canada and North America; direct business development and market-expansion strategy.
7. Represent the organization, or designate representatives to act on its behalf, in negotiations with major clients, strategic partners, industry stakeholders and government-related organizations concerning industrial construction projects and business development initiatives.
8. Act as the senior executive interface between the Canadian entity and Korea headquarters, reporting on corporate strategy, financial performance and the alignment of operational standards across international entities.
9. Hold full profit-and-loss accountability for the Canadian entity's performance, growth and long-term competitiveness in the EV-battery-plant construction and industrial-facility sector.

Requirements:
A university degree, or a college diploma combined with relevant experience.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of management experience in construction or a related field.
Knowledge of Korean may be considered an asset, but is not required.
