Position: Cook
Wage:17.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week
Job Duties:
1. Prepare and cook sushi, rolls, sashimi, tempura, teriyaki, and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
2. Prepare and portion ingredients, including seafood, vegetables, sauces, and rice for daily operations.
3. Ensure the freshness, quality, and proper storage of food ingredients.
4. Maintain food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies and health regulations.
5. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering food supplies and kitchen materials.
6. Inspect kitchen equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and proper operation.
7. Assist in training and supervising kitchen helpers and other support staff as required.
8. Minimize food waste and maintain portion control to ensure cost efficiency.
9. Work efficiently during peak service periods to ensure timely food preparation and customer satisfaction.
10. Perform other related kitchen duties as assigned by management.
