Job Description
Duties:

- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of painters, apprentices, and labourers across residential and commercial job sites.
- Assign tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and company standards.
- Inspect surfaces and completed work to determine required preparation and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Plan and coordinate painting projects, including materials, equipment, and workforce requirements for multiple job sites.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to workers on painting techniques, surface preparation, and safety procedures.
- Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity and work quality.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of protective equipment.
- Coordinate work with other trades and communicate with clients, contractors, and management regarding project progress and timelines.
- Maintain records of work progress, materials used, and project schedules.

Requirements:

- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a painter or in a related construction trade.
- Demonstrated experience supervising or leading painting crews.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial painting techniques, surface preparation, and coatings.
- Ability to plan, organize, and oversee multiple job sites and crews.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and safe work practices.
- English language ability is required.
