Green Umbrella Senior Care is looking for a Health Care Aide / Personal Support Worker – In-Home Care Services to join our team. Green Umbrella Senior Care is hiring caring and reliable Health Care Aides to provide in-home support to seniors and vulnerable adults in the community.
As a HCA / PSW – In-Home Care Services, you will work one-on-one with seniors in their homes helping to promote independence and allowing them the choice to live life on their terms.
Permanent, Full-time, $27.50 per hour; 30-40 hours per week. Shifts could be scheduled anytime between 7:30AM and 12AM, including weekends. You will be expected to travel to various work locations in Coquitlam and greater Vancouver.

Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene support;
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention;
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping;
• Provide companionship and emotional support;
• Assist with grocery shopping and errands;
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and community activities;
• Support individuals with dementia or cognitive challenges when required;
• Monitor client safety during day, evening, or overnight shifts;
• Supervise light exercise routines and leisure activities;
• Observe client condition and report any concerns;
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment;
• Provide companionship and care.
Requirements:
• Health Care Aide Certificate/HCA Certificate OR 1+ year of home care experience is required;
• Equivalent Foreign LPN/RN designation may be considered;
• Previous experience supporting seniors or individuals with mobility or cognitive challenges is an asset;
• Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies within scope of training;
• Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle is an asset;
• English language ability is required.
