Job Requirements
Languages: English, with strong oral and written communication skills
Education: Completion of a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline OR a secondary school graduation certificate with equivalent work experience is required.
Experience: Work experience as a Manager, Food and Beverage Service for 3 years or more required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Standing for extended periods
Personal Suitability: Team player, leadership, organized, efficient interpersonal skills, client focus, ability to multitask, Excellent written and oral communication skills
Supervision: 5-10 people
Work Setting: Urban area, Shopping centre or mall
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
Specific Skills/Job Duties: Establish and implement business objectives, performance targets, and operational plans to maximize sales and profitability; Monitor and control key cost drivers, including food and labour costs, and implement corrective strategies as required; Oversee and approve execution of all marketing promotions, materials, and initiative in alignment with corporate strategy; Determine staffing requirements and develop and approve staff schedules to ensure operational efficiency; Establish training programs and oversee employee development and performance management; Direct and oversee store operations, ensuring accountability across all levels of staff; Lead emergency response and crisis management procedures, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution; Enforce company operating standards and implement corrective actions to address non-compliance; Establish and maintain Quality, Service and Cleanliness (QSC) standards and ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations; Oversee inventory control systems, including forecasting, procurement, and cost management; Approve purchase orders and ensure quality assurance processes for all incoming goods; Oversee the resolution of customer complaints, inquiries, and service issues, ensuring timely and effective outcomes; Liaise with internal departments regarding product quality, supply issues, and operational improvements; Prepare and present operational and financial reports to the Regional Manager; Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making; Oversee store maintenance and repair activities, ensuring timely resolution and operational continuity.
