Top Modern Nails & Spa Ltd. is a professional nail salon located at Unit 5, 122 3rd St E, North Vancouver, BC V7L 1E6, providing high-quality manicure, pedicure, and nail enhancement services in a clean, client-focused environment. The business is seeking a Nail Salon Supervisor (NOC 62029) to oversee daily operations, ensure service excellence, and support team development.

JOB TITLE: Nail Salon Supervisor (NOC 62029)
LOCATION: Unit 5, 122 3rd St E, North Vancouver, BC V7L 1E6
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time
WAGE: $37.50 per hour
HOURS: 40 hours per week
VACANCIES: 1
START DATE: As soon as possible

MAIN JOB DUTIES:

- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of nail technicians;
- Assign duties and ensure efficient workflow and service delivery;
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance; enforce service quality, hygiene, and workplace standards;
- Train staff in nail care techniques, sanitation procedures, and customer service protocols;
- Resolve client complaints and implement corrective actions to maintain service standards;
- Maintain inventory levels; order supplies and ensure proper stock control;
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations applicable to salon operations;
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels based on operational needs;
- Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash control, and sales tracking;
- Implement and support operational procedures, promotions, and pricing as directed by management;
- Maintain operational and staff-related records;
- Perform nail services, including manicures, pedicures, acrylic and gel nail applications, to support business operations during peak periods.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

- Completion of secondary school required;
- 2 years of related work experience in nail salon services is required;
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience is an asset;
- Strong knowledge of nail care services, including acrylic, gel, and nail design techniques is required;
- Knowledge of sanitation, sterilization, and workplace safety standards is required;
- Ability to train staff, manage schedules, and oversee daily operations;
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills;
- Experience with inventory control and basic administrative functions;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
