COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Top Modern Nails & Spa Ltd. is a nail salon located at unit 5, 122 3rd St E, North Vancouver, BC V7L 1E6. The business provides manicure, pedicure, and nail enhancement services in a professional salon environment. The employer is currently seeking one Senior Nail Technician (NOC 63211). This position supports advanced nail services, assists in maintaining service quality standards, and provides guidance to junior staff as required.

JOB TITLE: Senior Nail Technician (NOC 63211)

LOCATION: Unit 5, 122 3rd St E, North Vancouver, BC V7L 1E6

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time

ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as possible

VACANCIES: 1

WAGE: $37.00 per hour (based on experience and advanced technical skills)

HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 40 hours per week

WORK SETTING: Nail salon

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advanced Nail Services:
• Perform manicures and pedicures using a range of techniques
• Apply artificial nails including acrylics, gels, and overlays with precision
• Shape and design nails in various styles (e.g., oval, square, round, coffin)
• Apply different polish techniques including regular polish, gel polish, and French polish
• Provide detailed nail art services including hand-drawn designs and decorative applications (e.g., gems)
• Perform nail maintenance, repairs, and safe removal of artificial nails
• Clean and treat nails as part of standard nail care services
• Provide basic hand and foot care treatments

Client Consultation and Service Quality:
• Assess client nail condition and recommend appropriate services or treatments
• Ensure consistent service quality and client satisfaction
• Respond to client inquiries and address service concerns

Health and Safety Compliance:
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
• Follow salon hygiene protocols and safe handling practices

Operational Support and Team Guidance:
• Maintain inventory of nail products and supplies
• Assist in training and guiding junior staff on techniques and service standards

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Secondary school completion is required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nail care or a related position is required
• Demonstrated experience performing nail enhancements and detailed nail art
• Knowledge of nail care techniques, products, and sanitation standards
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to perform work requiring precision and consistency without supervision;
• English language is required
