Assistant Restaurant Manager may perform some or all of the following duties:
• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts.
• Maintain standards for product & service quality, restaurant cleanliness & speed of service.
• Ensure guest service in all areas meets company standards.
• Respond to customer complaints, taking prompt & appropriate action to resolve problem and ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
• Accurately complete designated duties such as inventory control, ordering of products, cash control.
• Assist in optimizing profits by controlling product & labor costs.
• Communicate and oversee the execution of product promotions.
• Staff, train and develop hourly employees through hiring, orientations, ongoing feedback, establishment of performance expectations & by conducting performance reviews.
• Prepare hourly employee schedules to meet the staffing requirements for each day part as determine by the GM.
• Expected to exercise good judgment in decision-making & reporting issues to the General Manager.
Employment requirements:
- Several years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
- Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality, or food and beverage service management is usually required.

Job Description
Located at 2512 8 St E Saskatoon, SK S7H 0V6. A&W is seeking to fill two (2) positions for Assistant Restaurant Manager. Position will be full-time permanent position (37.5 to 40 hrs. week) with a starting wage of $24.52 hr. Vacation paid at 5.77%. Medical and Dental Benefits as per company policy. RRSP matching based on company policies and eligibility. Free uniforms and meals while on duty.
