Salary: CAD 20–CAD 23 per hour
Work Hours: 30–40 hours per week
Job Description:
A private household in Vancouver is seeking a dependable and caring Home Child Care Provider to support the daily care, supervision, and development of children in a home setting. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and routine.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide attentive supervision and ensure children’s safety at all times within the home
• Assist children with daily care needs, including dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks suitable for children’s nutritional needs
• Establish and maintain consistent daily routines, including meal times, naps, and activities
• Create a supportive and positive environment that promotes emotional well-being
• Plan and lead engaging activities such as reading, crafts, games, and outdoor play
• Encourage age-appropriate learning, behavior, and social interaction
• Escort children to and from school, appointments, or activities when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of areas used by the children
• Follow parents’ guidance regarding discipline, routines, and childcare preferences
• Monitor children’s overall condition and communicate any concerns to parents
• Keep simple daily notes on routines or activities if requested

Job Description
Employment Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• Relevant childcare experience is an asset
• Ability to work independently and responsibly in a private household
• Childcare-related training or education is required
• First Aid and CPR certification is required
• Criminal record check and Driver's validity licence check
Working Conditions:
• 30–40 hours per week
• Flexible schedule based on family needs
• Work performed in employer’s private residence
