Job Details
Dinestcorp Holding Ltd. (dba Dinesty Dumpling House) is seeking a Sous Chef for its Richmond location.
Full-time, $37.25 per hour; 30-40 hours per week. Bonus available depending on sales performance.
Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled between 11AM and 9PM, as required.

Job Description
Duties:
• Prepare, cook and present food in accordance with restaurant’s standards;
• Collaborate in activities of chefs, cooks and other personnel;
• Support the Chef in ensuring operational standards are met including proper scheduling, quality standards, inventory and shrink control, equipment maintenance, sanitation, food safety and health & safety;
• Provide support to Chef including training, supervising, and conducting performance reviews of kitchen staff;
• Act as liaison between kitchen staff and front of house managers;
• Assist the Chef in estimating annual food budget.
• Conducting meetings, menu briefings and maintaining communication lines between the line staff and Executive Chef.

Requirements:
• Secondary school completion required;
• Minimum 1 year of previous food service industry supervisory experience is required;
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial cook is required;
• Formal training in the culinary arts is an asset;
• English language ability is required;
• Chinese language ability is an asset.
