Job Description

Specific Skills:
Prepare and cook full course meals including all Veg. And non-veg. curries and cook individual dishes and foods.
Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions.
Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes.
Steam, grill, boil, bake or fry meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.
Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.)
Ensure that kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned.
Order according to food health and safety standards
Handling and monitoring multiple food orders at one time.
Manage kitchen operations.
