Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $24.50 per hour – 35 hours per week

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Caregiver to provide support and companionship to a senior in a private household. The ideal candidate will be reliable, attentive, and committed to ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of the client.
Job Duties
Provide companionship and emotional support to the senior to promote overall well-being.
Assist with mobility and daily personal care needs.
Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding when required.
Assist with basic health-related tasks under guidance when necessary.
Perform light housekeeping duties related to the client’s care.
Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment in the home.
Job Description
Qualifications
Completion of the equivalent of Canadian secondary school education.
Completion of a caregiver or related training program is considered an asset.
First Aid certification is an asset.
Previous experience in a related caregiving role is considered an asset.

Safety and Security Requirements
Criminal record check.
Driver’s record check (abstract).
Valid driver’s license verification.
Professional references required.

Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., totaling 35 hours per week.
Overtime or occasional weekend work may be required depending on the employer’s schedule.

Work Setting
Private household in Surrey, BC located at 14355 103 Ave #402, Surrey, BC V3T 5V5
Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis; however, this is not a condition of employment.
Work site environment: Non-smoking home.
