- Necessary experience: High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional experience: 1 to 2 years experience
- Spoken language: English
- Written language: English

Tasks :
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed and plan best sequence of operations.
- Compute dimensions and tolerance and measure and lay out work pieces.
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
- Set up and program machine tools for use by machining tool operators.
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Prepare a test run to check it the machines produce outputs according to the specifications.
- Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
- Fit an assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
