Garden in Gardens Greenhouse Ltd. is one of largest retail and wholesale garden center in Great Vancouver, have been in business since 2004. We offer quality products and services to homeowners, contractors, commercial properties, and strata management companies in Greater Vancouver. Garden in Gardens is Richmond-based service company. We have 4 farms including 1 blueberry farm, 3 nursery farms and several greenhouses with over 20 acres of plants, shrubs, trees, fruit trees and more and we offer competitive prices and high-quality products.
With our business expansion, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Supervisor to join our team. The Farm Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations on our farm, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Job Description
Main Duties
- Overseeing farm labourers/workers;
- Organize, prepare and manage usual activities on the farm such as planting, irrigation, harvesting, grading, sorting, packing etc.;
- Opening in the morning and closing at the end of the business day;
- Hiring and training farm labourers/workers;
- Assigning work to workers, supervising and evaluating worker’s performance;
- Creating work schedules and establishing procedures;
- Observing and ensuring high quality standards of farm products;
- Ensuring farm safety procedures are adhered to;
- Planning, ordering and maintaining an inventory of farm inputs including all necessary record keeping;
- Monitoring weather conditions and paying special attention to hot or cold temperature;
- Monitoring and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Job Requirements:
- Complete of secondary education;
- At least 3 years’ experience in farm supervision is required;
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities;
- Knowledge of cultivation techniques, including planting, fertilization, irrigation and harvesting etc.;
- Familiarity with farm equipment and machinery;
- Understanding of pest and disease management practices;
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends during peak seasons.
