Wage: $39.00 /hour for 35 hours per week

Job Duties:
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to determine installation requirements and ensure work is completed according to project standards.
• Supervise and coordinate with other workers
• Measure, cut, and prepare drywall panels for installation on interior walls and ceilings.
• Align, position, and securely fasten drywall sheets to wood or metal framing members, including studs and joists.
• Cut, fit, and install metal corner beads to reinforce and protect outside corners from damage.
• Apply joint compound to seams, nail or screw indentations, holes, and surface imperfections using appropriate finishing tools.
• Reinforce drywall joints by embedding joint tape into compound with taping equipment or hand tools.
• Remove excess compound, ensure a smooth finish, and allow each coat to dry thoroughly before further application.
• Apply multiple coats of joint compound as required and sand the finished surfaces to create smooth, seamless joints.
• Assemble and install suspended metal ceiling grid systems and fit ceiling panels to construct acoustical and coffered ceiling installations.
• Inspect completed drywall and ceiling installations for quality, make necessary repairs or adjustments, and maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with workplace safety regulations.
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
• Follow all safety procedures on work site.
• Install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels.
