The position is full-time and permanent (37.5 to 40 hours per week) with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour. Vacation pay will be provided at 5.77%. English is essential.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cooks may perform some or all of the following duties:

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes

Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and sauces

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen

Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are met

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Monitor food inventory and assist with stock rotation

Maintain kitchen equipment and work areas

Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Follow employer policies and health regulations

Employment Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is usually required

1–2 years of commercial cooking experience or relevant training is required

Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
