We, Max-Well General Construction Ltd., are looking for passionate candidates for a full-time Floor Covering Installer to join our dynamic team!
Position: Floor Covering Installer (NOC 73113)
Vacancies: 2
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, To be determined.
Hourly Wage: $27.00 – 30.00 per hour
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Business location: 653 Pearsall Crescent, Regina, Saskatchewan S4W 0K2
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
?Visit job sites to inspect and measure floors, making sure the surface is clean, level, and ready for installation
?Cut and lay down underpadding or underlay to prepare the floor before installing the main material
?Measure, cut, and install carpets using tools like knee-kickers, seamers, and bonding tape to ensure a smooth and secure fit.
?Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
?Install vinyl, laminate, or other resilient flooring by applying adhesive and carefully smoothing it into place
?Install hardwood floors such as planks or parquet using glue, nails, or staples, depending on the material and space
?Fix or replace damaged floor sections and make sure everything looks clean and professional
?Estimate material quantities and labor requirements, based on site measurements and customer needs.
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
?Completion of secondary school
?7 Months to 12 months of work experience in related field
?Weigh handling up to 23kg (50lb)
?A driver’s license is required; own vehicle is required
?Physical capability of performing duties
?Client focus, Accurate, Team player, Reliability, Judgement
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Bending, crouching, kneeling; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Handling heavy loads; Hand-eye-co-ordination
