The position is permanent, full-time; $29.00 per hour; 40 hours per week.

Job Description

Duties:
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by scraping, sanding, pressure washing, patching, and priming
- Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushing, rolling, and spraying techniques
- Perform exterior painting on residential and low-rise commercial buildings, requiring regular work at heights
- Access work areas using extension ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts depending on site conditions
- Set up and remove site protection, including drop sheets, masking materials, and barriers
- Measure, mix, thin, and colour-match paints according to job specifications and weather conditions
- Mask windows, doors, trim, and architectural features while positioned on ladders or elevated platforms
- Assemble, inspect, secure, and dismantle ladders and scaffolding in accordance with safety requirements
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including fall-protection when working at heights
- Maintain tools and keep job sites clean, safe, and organized

Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 1 year of painting experience
- Ability and willingness to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding
- Physically capable of lifting materials and working outdoors
- Fall Protection Awareness Training is an asset
- English language ability is required
