Job Details
TKL Group is seeking full-time Concrete Finishers. There are 3 positions available. The work location is various sites in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.

Business address: 152 Toryork Dr. North York, ON M9L 1X6.

Hours of work are 30 hours/week (overtime pay after 44 hours). Pay is $56,500 per annum. Successful candidate must speak English and have completed high school. Minimum work experience is 3 years hands on experience.

Job Description
Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

-Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
-Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete
-Operate power vibrator to compact concrete
-Level top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications using straightedge or float
-Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
-Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete
-Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete
-Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces
-Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of floors, walls, roads and other concrete structures.
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
-Create, maintain, repair, and renovate the wooden structures, concrete formwork, and other spaces using various tools.
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials like wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and others.
-Perform additional activities at construction sites as directed.
