Levcon Construction Ltd. is seeking two Carpentry Helpers. It’s a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours/week, $28.00/h. 4% paid vacation. Our benefits include extended medical/dental care, and a profit share after 3 months. Job Description

Job duties:
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to support carpenters at job sites.
- Assist in preparing work areas by setting up scaffolding, barricades, or temporary supports as directed.
- Measure, cut, and carry lumber, plywood, and other building materials under the supervision of a carpenter.
- Hold, move, or position materials in place during framing, installation, or assembly tasks.
- Clean and maintain work sites by removing debris, sweeping, and organizing tools and materials.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools, such as hammers, drills, or saws, as instructed.
- Mix, prepare, or apply construction materials such as adhesives, fasteners, or fillers to support carpentry tasks.
- Assist carpenters with installing fixtures, hardware, insulation, and other building components.

Requirements:
Languages: Basic English
Education: No education is required, but must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving truck
Experience: Some experience in construction is required
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard Hat
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Comfortable working in any weather conditions, Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Wet/damp, Dusty, Noisy
Personal Suitability: Team player, Dependability, Organized, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills, Reliability
