Tempco Heating & Sheet Metal Inc. is a well-established HVAC wholesale distributor serving contractors across the Greater Toronto Area. We are seeking an experienced Office Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily branch operations, including front counter, administrative, and warehouse support functions.
The Office Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring accurate order processing, strong customer service, staff supervision, and compliance with company policies and workplace standards.

Summary of Tasks

Key Details of Duties & Responsibilities
• Coordinate, assign, and review the daily work of administrative, inventory, and operational support staff across Purchasing, Warehouse, Front Counter, and Inventory Administration functions, ensuring alignment with company procedures and productivity targets
• Establish and implement work schedules, procedures, and operational workflows to support efficient HVAC wholesale operations across departments, coordinating activities with dept. leads
• Monitor departmental performance and workflow, identify operational issues, and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and service delivery within a fast-paced HVAC environment
• Oversee inventory coordination and internal controls, working closely with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure accurate stock flow, proper documentation, and adherence to internal procedures
• Coordinate material, supply, and equipment requirements across departments, including PO approvals and follow-up, ensuring uninterrupted branch operations
• Ensure smooth operation of office and operational systems, liaising with Leads and external vendors to arrange maintenance, system support, or repairs as required
• HR & people leadership: Liaise with HR and department Leads to support hiring, onboarding, coaching/training, and performance feedback—while reinforcing company policies, safety requirements, and consistent standards across departments.
• Operational guidance (HVAC context): Provide day-to-day procedural direction using HVAC product knowledge and internal best practices, escalating complex issues to Leads when needed.
• Issue resolution & workforce planning: Investigate workflow/staffing problems, implement corrective actions, communicate expectations clearly, and help identify staffing needs, training gaps, and succession planning to maintain continuity.
• Prepare and submit operational reports and summaries related to productivity, workflow efficiency, staffing & training

Employment Requirements
• Completion of Bachelor Degree required
• Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset
• Minimum 2 years of experience in office administration, customer service, or wholesale operations
• Minimum 2 years previous supervisory or team-lead experience required
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP systems (Prophet 21 preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced HVAC wholesale environment
