Position: Personal Support Worker-Caregiver

Private home is seeking a Personal Support Worker to care for a senior couple.

Duties:

• Providing care and companionship;
• Assisting in bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing;
• Preparing and monitoring meals and snacks based on dietary menu provided by our family 5 days per week;
• Performing routine housekeeping works such as cleaning, laundry, washing dishes, making beds, etc;
• Administering oral medications and reporting relevant observations to our family;
• Providing cognitive, social and emotional support;
• Monitoring blood pressures daily;
• Doing grocery shopping when necessary;
• Accompanying and assisting to medical appointments or social trips.

Qualifications required:
• Minimum high school graduation.
• Positive attitude, client focused, reliable, dependable, punctual and with good judgement.
• Ability to lift up to 130 lbs weight.

Classification: Full-time?35 hours per week

Salary and benefits: $28 per hour, 5 paid vacation days annually
