We, Lucky 58 Plumbing and Mechanical Systems, are looking for skilled and passionate full-time Plumbers to become part of our dynamic team!
Position: Plumber (NOC 72300)
Vacancies: 3
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined.
Hourly Wage: $36.00 – 45.00 per hour
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 11920 Forge pl suite 125, Richmond, BC V7A 4V9
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing, water supply, drainage systems for residential and commercial projects.
- Locate, measure, and mark positions for pipe connections, fixtures, and passage openings in walls, floors, and ceilings
- Cut, drill, and prepare openings in walls and floors to install pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply lines, waste and drainage systems, hot water tanks, and related fixtures
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipes using hand and power tools according to required specifications
- Join pipes and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
- Determine piping system requirements, pipe sizing, materials, and installation methods based on building codes and project specifications
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation using air and water pressure gauges
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform repairs or replacements as required
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and company quality requirements
- Communicate with project lead, contractors, and clients regarding work progress and technical requirements
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe worksite at all times
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• College diploma/CEGEP
• At least 5 years of work experience with residential/commercial plumbing
• Red Seal Certificate is an asset
• Eligible to apply for a trade certificate
• English is required, Mandarin is an asset
• A driver’s license is required; own vehicle is an asset
• Physical capability of performing duties
• Client focus, Team player, Reliability, Judgement
• Own tools/equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
