Job Title: Framer-Carpenter

Position: 1 (Full-time & Permanent)

Languages - English

Education - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience - 2 years to less than 3 years

On-site - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Wage: $36.20/hr for 30 hours per week

Skills: Problem Solving and working with others

Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculaterequirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweightsteel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Estimate costs and materials
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals,industrial plants and other establishments
