Wanted One Assistant Manager (NOC 60020)
For The Circle Ski and Snowboard Shop (the “Circle”) that is a Skate, Snowboard and Lifestyle Boutique in the heart of Canada’s Snowboard capital, Whistler, British Columbia. The Circle curates fine goods from all over the world, brands and products that the Circle’s customers crave. The Circle’s staff are passionate and knowledgeable about the products they sell, and live for the Skate, Snow and Lifestyle of the industry. Customers are both adults and children.
Job Title
1. Assistant manager
2. Duties:
-Assistant manager/manager-on-shift
- Assist in the planning, organizing and directing and evaluating the operations of a skate, board and lifestyle boutique that sells merchandise and services
-key holder: key holder responsibilities include store oversight and team management/support during shifts
-sales management
-inventory management
-POS system management and after-sales support
-product and lifestyle expertise, customer education
-website design consulting and user experience to align digital strategy and brand strategy
-community engagement: Coordinated community partnerships and organized and assisting in local events to enhance brand visibility (local events and partnerships)
-collaborating on market analysis and sales reports to inform business decisions
-assisting in product buying
-social media marketing and content creation/management specializing in snow, skate and women’s lifestyle wear
- boot fitting management

3. Hourly wage will be $25.00 per hour.

Minimum 12 months of work experience as an assistant manager in a similar type of business required.
University degree required.
