Pocklington Building Systems Ltd. is hiring a roofer for roofing installation in the Sea to Sky region of British Columbia. We are located at 101-1002 Lynham Road in Whistler, BC and are the largest roofing company in Whistler with safety a priority, providing stable employment for over 38 years.

Requirements to do the job:
-at least 2 years of previous work experience in the roofing industry
-secondary school diploma

What we offer:
-40 hours of work per week with possibility of overtime
-$37 per hour

The work is physically demanding and includes repetitive tasks, lifting heavy weights and bending. Majority of work is outside at heights, in potentially noisy and dusty environments.

Job Description

Job duties:
-Install and repair metal roofs using hand tools
-Install metal flashings
-Erect and install scaffolding and other work platforms
-Evaluate quantities of materials necessary for work sites
-Apply coatings to roof surfaces
