Mascon Restorations is looking for full time Senior Construction Worker at 244 Dalton Ave, Kingston, ON K7K 6C3, Canada. There are 10 positions available.

Hours of work are a minimum of 30 hours per week (overtime pay applies after 44 hours). Pay is $57,000 per annum. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed high school. Minimum work experience is 5 years of hands-on experience.

Job Description

Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

-Cutting and fastening wood for framing, finishing or concrete work
-Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
-Pouring and finishing concretes, fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete
-Using various hand and power tools, operate power vibrator to compact concrete
-Level top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications using straightedge or float, chipping, drilling and cutting concrete
-Installing air and vapor barriers on wall and foundation systems. Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete
-Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete
-Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces
-Moving organizing tools and materials around the site, site clean up material disposal
-Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of floors, walls, roads and other concrete structures.
