Director of Finance

Our client, a progressive Indigenous Nation in Lillooet, BC, is seeking a proactive Director of Finance to lead a high-impact team and play a key role in shaping long-term fiscal strategy and governance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead accounting operations: A/P, A/R, payroll, and financial reporting
Guide annual budgets, audits, and system upgrades
Recommend internal control improvements and financial policies
Collaborate with department leaders to align strategy and reporting
Help the Nation move toward First Nations Financial Management Board certification

About You

Be able to do the job as described
CPA designation with Sage 300 and Excel proficiency
Strong grasp of FAL and FNHA financial frameworks
Diplomatic communicator in a highly interactive team
Skilled in policy enforcement and financial system evaluation
