Take R Enterprise Inc. (dba JINYA Ramen Bar and Kagura Hand Roll Bar) is seeking a Restaurant Manager for our Vancouver locations.

Permanent, full-time; 30-40 hours per week; $36.60 per hour. Bonus is available depending on sales performance. Extended health, dental, and disability benefits are available.

Standard 6-8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled between 9AM and 12AM, as required.

Shifts could be scheduled at the following locations, as required:
1. 541 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC
2. 2036 W 4th Avenue, Vancouver, BC

Job Description
Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant;
• Establish menu and services to be offered and implement operational procedures accordingly;
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets cash reports and related forms;
• Lead regular management meetings;
• Conduct interviews and hire staff;
• Supervise employees and conduct performance reviews;
• Organize and maintain inventory;
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed;
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies;
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation;
• Address customer complaints or concerns;
• Provide customer service as needed;
• Ensure all meals leaving the kitchen are consistent in presentation and quality;
• Prepare ramen soup base and other items on the menu.

Qualifications:
• A college diploma or university degree is required;
• At least 3 years experience in the food service industry is required;
• Previous supervisory or management experience is required, preferably in restaurants;
• Previous experience with Japanese ramen cuisine is an asset;
• English language ability is required;
• Japanese language ability is an asset.
