Laco Firepro Service Ltd. is seeking an experienced Sprinkler System Installer for a position based in Lower Mainland.

The position is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week); $39.00 per hour.

Job Description

Duties:
- Read and interpret drawings, work specifications and fire codes;
- Select, measure, cut and install pipes;
- Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps and control equipment;
- Install clamps, brackets and hangers to support piping system and sprinkler and fire protection equipment using hand and power tools;
- Install sprinkler heads and alarm systems;
- Weld pipes;
- Test systems for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment;
- Service and repair sprinkler system;
- Prepare cost estimates.

Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required;
- At least ?2 year?s of experience as sprinkler system installer required;
?- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in sprinkler installation (e.g., pipe cutters, threaders, drills)?;
?- Knowledge of basic pipefitting techniques, including measuring, cutting, threading, and joining pipes?;
- Valid Driver's licence;
- English language ability is required.
