Regal Exterior Ltd. located in Surrey, BC is currently hiring 2 full-time “Carpenters” to join their growing team, who will be required to work at various locations in the Lower Mainland areas of BC.

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Work Location: Surrey, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Position Responsibilities
? Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
? Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
? Finish surfaces of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling.
? Work on new projects remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
? Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls, and install partitions.
? Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
? Supervise other construction workers.

Job requirements:
? Completion of Secondary School.
? Completion of an apprenticeship program in relevant trade OR minimum 3 years of work experience in the Carpentry trade.
? Ability to communicate in English.
