Job Description

Specific Skills:
• Operate long-haul tractor-trailer units to transport goods over long distances
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Safely load, secure, and unload cargo as required
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Comply with traffic laws and transportation regulations
• Maintain logbooks and trip records
• Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance issues
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules and delays
• Follow safety procedures at all times
• Ensure cargo is delivered safely and on time

License Requirements:
Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1, or A license
