Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Completion of a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or a secondary school graduation certificate with equivalent work experience is required.
Experience: Work experience as a food service supervisor for 1 year or more is required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment
Workers Supervised: Food service counter attendants and food preparers
Work Setting: Shopping centre or mall
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
Specific Skills/Job Duties: Train team members on proper procedures, hygiene, workplace safety, and teach new staff how to make beverage and snack; Plan and organize daily operations to ensure work schedules are followed efficiently; Order and maintain inventory of tea, toppings, and other kitchen supplies as needed; Oversee and coordinate the work of staff involved in preparing beverages and snacks; Determine the quantities of ingredients and materials required for daily production; Monitor product quality and service to ensure consistency with company standards; Assist in preparing operating budgets and estimating food and supply costs; Handle and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or service issues promptly; Keep accurate records of inventory, equipment maintenance, sales, and wastage; Compile and submit operational and performance reports to management; Prepare daily order lists and summaries for management review; Supervise and verify the proper assembly and presentation of beverage orders; Create and manage staff work schedules to maintain adequate coverage during all shifts.
