We Care Restoration is looking for a full-time Senior Construction Worker at Bay 1 8712 107 ST Fort St John BC, V1J 5K7, Canada. There are 2 positions available.

Hours of work is average of 30 hours/week (overtime pay after 44 hours). Pay is $57,500 annually. Successful candidates must speak English. Secondary school is required. Minimum work experience is5 years hands on experience.

Job Description

Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

-Load and unload construction materials and transport them to designated work areas.
-Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, platforms, shoring, and barricades as required on construction sites.
-Assist tradespersons such as finish carpenters in construction and installation activities.
-Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, trim, and other materials using hand and power tools.
-Install doors, windows, moldings, baseboards, cabinets, and other interior finishing components.
-Sand, stain, and polish wood surfaces to achieve smooth and finished appearances.
-Ensure alignment, fit, and structural integrity of woodwork and interior finishes.
-Repair, replace, or adjust damaged or misaligned wooden components and finishes.
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris, rubble, and hazardous materials from construction areas.
-Direct on-site traffic and assist in maintaining a safe work zone.
-Perform other construction-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
