A Child Care Position Available Immediately in Vancouver, B.C.

We are currently looking for a full time Child Care Provider at a private home in Vancouver, B.C. The minimum requirements are listed in this advertisement. Competitive candidates should apply with your resume online by November 31, 2025. Candidate must reside in Vancouver area for the purposes of employment.

Requirements:
• Qualified as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant under the authority of section 8(1) of the community care and assisted living Act in British Columbia or more.
• Qualified for Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR/AED Level B or more.
• Experience in the field of Child Care for at least one year or more.
• Speak fluently, Read and Write in Japanese and English Languages.
• Preference will be given to a candidate with a four (4) year university degree and Customer Service experience.

Job Description
The following responsibilities are expected to be completed during the work.
- Change diapers
- Follow parent's lead with toilet training
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
- Care for pets
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Prepare children for rest periods
- Supervise and care for children
- Take children to and from school and to appointments
- Tend to emotional well-being of children
- Help children with homework
