Job Description

About the Role:
We are seeking a caring, patient, and responsible Child Caregiver to join our household. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while assisting with their daily routines and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care for infants and children, including feeding, bathing, and dressing

Change diapers, sterilize bottles, and prepare formulas

Plan and organize activities, games, and outings to encourage learning and play

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Monitor children’s daily health and maintain accurate records of activities and well-being

Support children’s emotional development and well-being

Follow parents’ guidance on discipline and care methods

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized home environment

Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Accompany family on trips and provide child supervision and support as needed

Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of related child care experience

Languages: English (knowledge of Panjabi is an asset)

Certificates: CPR and First Aid certification required

Additional Information

Work environment: Non-smoking household

Travel: Must be willing to travel with family when required

Security: References required
