NuVue Exteriors is looking for full time Floor Covering Installer at 463 Dene Drive, Kamloops, BC
V2H 1J1. There are 1 positions available.

Hours of work are 40 hours a week Mon-Fri (overtime pay after 40 hours). Pay is $28.85 per
hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed secondary school. Minimum work experience is 3 years hands on experience.

Job Description

Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

-Prepare layouts according to project work orders, which includes selecting materials, arranging sequences and methods of work, measuring, and marking materials.
-Prioritize safety and demonstrate high integrity to clients and team members.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced team members.
-Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding.
-Measure, cut and install carpeting using hand or machine stitcher, seaming iron, bonding
tape or other bonding materials.
-Stretch carpeting using knee-kicker or power stretcher and secure carpeting to floor or
other surfaces using staple gun or other devices.
-Measure, cut and install resilient floor covering using adhesive, rollers and other hand
tools.
-Install hardwood floors, such as strip floors, block floors or plank floors, using glue, staples, nails or other means.
-Inspect job sites conduct maintenance and repair damaged floor coverings.
