NuVue Exteriors is looking for full time Carpenter at 463 Dene Drive, Kamloops, BC V2H 1J1. There are 3 positions available.

Hours of work are 40 hours a week Mon-Fri (overtime pay after 40 hours). Pay is $30.25 per
hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed secondary school. Minimum work experience is 3 years hands on experience.

Job Description

Main duties are as follows but not limited to:
-Read and Understand blueprints in order to prepare layouts, which includes selecting
materials, arranging sequences and methods of work, measuring, and marking materials.
-Prioritize safety and demonstrate high integrity to clients and team members.
-Carpentry experience in cladding or siding installation with working knowledge.
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes,
lightweight steel and other materials.
-Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.
-Inspect job sites and conduct repairs or maintenance, renovate residences and wooden
structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
-Provide mentorship to less experienced team members and supervise apprentices and
other construction workers.
-May prepare cost estimates for clients.
