Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Determine and request the necessary ingredients and supplies for preparing meals.
• Keep accurate records of stock.
• Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, hygiene practices, and safety protocols.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff.
• Monitor that food meet with quality standards.
• Assist in the preparation of policies and procedures.
• Plan work schedules and establish daily operating procedures.
Qualifications
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a community college program in hotel and restaurant management or related discipline.
• Available to work the day, afternoon, weekend shifts, and overtime if needed.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
