Job Summary:
Colonial Countertops Ltd. is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Tile Setter Helper to support our installation team in Victoria, BC. The successful candidate will assist tile setters by performing tasks such as preparing materials, maintaining cleanliness on-site, and handling tools and equipment. This is a physically demanding position that requires precision, coordination, and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities:

* Assist tile setters with surface preparation, mixing and applying adhesives, and layout support
* Load and unload materials and equipment
* Cut tiles and stones using manual and powered tools under supervision
* Transport materials to work areas
* Clean up debris and maintain a tidy job site
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
* Perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
* Follow direction and work collaboratively with installation team members

Work Environment:

* Indoor and outdoor construction sites
* Exposure to dust, noise, and physically demanding tasks
* Repetitive movements and prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, or lifting

Requirements:

* Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience
* Language: English
