Job Description

We are seeking a Child Caregiver to provide nurturing, attentive care for children in our private residence in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will be experienced, patient, and attentive to both the physical and emotional needs of children.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and care for children in a home environment
Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
Change diapers and assist with toilet training
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Organize age-appropriate games, activities, and outings
Prepare children for nap or rest periods
Discipline children according to parents’ methods
Maintain a safe, healthy, non-smoking, and scent-free environment
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks
Keep daily records of children’s activities and health information
Tend to the emotional well-being of the children

Qualifications:
Language: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
CPR and First Aid Certification required
