Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Care for senior couple (male and female) with medical issues and limited mobility
- Provide personal care and hygiene (i.e. dressing, bathing, personal grooming)
- Provide companionship & accompany to appointments
- Administer medications in accordance with physician instructions
- Assist in daily exercise
- Ability to use a lift from chair to bed
- Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder)
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Work Environment:
- Non-smoking
- Working within the employer’s home

Job Requirements:
- Education: Secondary - General Course (Diploma) Completed
- Experience: 1 year of job-related experience
- Languages: English or French
- Skills: Punctuality, Client Focus, Initiative, Organized, Judgement, Patience, Flexibility, Reliability & Dependability, Effective interpersonal skills

Salary: $16.10/hour
Hours per week: 40 Hours

Basic Schedule:
Monday: Off
Tuesday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks
Wednesday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks
Thursday: Off
Friday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks
Saturday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks
Sunday: Off
