Santouka Kamei Canada Food Ltd. (dba Hokkaido Ramen Santouka) is seeking a Head Cook.
Permanent, full-time (30-44 hours per week), $34.07 per hour. Bonus is available based on sales performance.
Standard 6-8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 8am and 12am as required.
Locations:
Shifts may be scheduled at any of the following locations, as needed:
1. Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, 2057 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON, M4S 2A2;
2. Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, 91 Dundas Street E, Toronto, ON, M5B 2C8.

Job Description
Duties:
• Cook everything on the menu;
• Create ramen soup bases;
• Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness;
• Maintain a clean kitchen;
• Supervise all food preparation;
• Provide training to new kitchen staff on matters of hygiene, Japanese ramen techniques, and other matters.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;
• Previous experience with Japanese Ramen cuisine is an asset;
• English language ability required;
• Japanese language ability is an asset.
