Bicycle Sports Pacific is seeking a Store Manager to join the team at their Vancouver location.

This is a permanent, full-time position. $40.87 per hour, 7-8 hours per day; 30 hours per week. Shifts may be scheduled between 10:00AM and 6:00PM as required.

Job Description
Duties:
• Managerial Duties - Perform key holding, managing escalated issues, developing and implementing marketing strategies, providing leadership and direction, delegation completion of business tasks as per BSP standards. Grow the business.
• Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
• Sales – manage Instore transactions above $15,000, Process online sales for all three BSP locations and interact with customers online.
• Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends.
• Confidently evaluate customer needs and provide a positive experience to all customers.
• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
• Inventory Management - Analyse Market trends, manage Inventory online and In store, place orders for all locations based on analysis.
• Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving orders and maintaining inventories.
• Store - Maintain specified store and merchandising standards.
• Transfers – Analyse multi store sales to plan and coordinate transfers.
• Training - Learning extensive knowledge of all the bicycle brands and products we carry.
• Staffing - Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff and monitor and report on performance; Prepare performance reviews of staff as needed
• Able to resolve IT problems in store, e commerce and with the website.
• Marketing – in store, online and community promotion of BSP to grow the business.
• Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
• Prepare reports on sales, volumes, merchandising, personnel matters and operations.
• Achieving set goals.
• Develops, implements, markets, and maintains all facets of the BSP Community Engagement Strategy at store level.


Qualifications:
• Secondary education required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales and customer service experience, including online sales, is required.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role is an asset.
• Must be proficient in MS Office products, such as Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of bicycles, parts, and accessories as well as some mechanical skills is an asset.
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and/or experience with leading website CMS platforms is an asset.
• Working knowledge of Google feed, Google Analytics, Google Ad Network, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, AdWords, Bing, Facebook ads, and Hotjar is an asset.
• Must have very strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
