The HR Manager & Senior Consultant has a dual function within NVision and is an integral part of the NVision Leadership team. Under the direction of the NVision Insight Group Inc. Senior Manager of Corporate Services (internal focus) and the Senior Executive Officer (external focus), the HR Manager and Senior Consultant is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of internal and external HR initiatives.
Internal Focus: The HR Manager & Senior Consultant develops and implements management, administrative and human resource policies and procedures, supervises staff, and supports the SEO and company service areas with planning, development, implementation, and management to achieve the company’s long term operational and financial goals.
External Focus: The HR Manager & Senior Consultant is responsible for leading research and development of service offerings and securing HR related consulting projects and revenue generating HR work. The HR Manager & Senior Consultant will complete planning, implementation, and management of the HR external projects, which might be stand-alone HR services, or in conjunction with other company projects that have an HR component.
Job Description
What you will do:
Internal Human Resources
•Develop HR systems, policies, processes, and programs that create a strong corporate culture aligned with NVision mission, vision, and values.
•Evaluate, revise, design, and implement corporate employment program elements, including: job descriptions, staff benefits package, compensation and performance management systems, and policies and procedures.
•Oversee compliance with legislation and regulatory management.
•Support conflict resolution and management of compliance breaches.
•Evaluate, revise, design, and implement the corporate professional development program
•Provide corporate oversight of human resource activities across the company, including developing HR work processes and templates, overseeing annual performance review process and work planning, overseeing and developing recruitment processes, overseeing
and developing onboarding processes, and overseeing communications with staff regarding HR policies, procedures, and onboarding.
•Provide corporate oversight of the mental health and wellbeing and work-life balance of staff.
•Monitor staff adherence to policies and procedures.
•Support with strategic HR planning.

External Consulting
•Identify potential clients and opportunities in the HR space. Initiate and follow up with contacts as potential NVision clients, employees and sub-contractors.
•Identify and participate in approved marketing activities.
•Contribute to identifying and developing new product opportunities that NVision can take to the marketplace, which may include working with other service areas within NVision to develop product or service areas and opportunities based on NVision expertise.
•Develop high quality, competitive and profitable proposals.
•Provide clients with high quality products and services that meet or exceed client requirements and expectations.
•For non-HR led projects, carry out project tasks at the discretion of the Project Manager.
•For HR led project, act as project manager including identifying project team members, completing agreements with associates and sub-contractors, reviewing and approving work completed by team members, and managing project finances.
•Travel, as required, for activities including, but not limited to client meetings, project tasks, engagements, and field work.
