Wage : $67,860 per annum
Weekly Hours : 37.5 hours a week

Job Duties:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles
• Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Conduct financial analysis of transactions to ensure appropriate recording in the GL.
• Month-end close responsibilities including reviewing inventory, preparing journal entries, reviewing financial statements, analyzing financial results, and preparing for controller review.
• Reconciliation of balance sheets, preparation and analysis of financial statements, and preparation of capital expenses.
• Manage wires, ACH transfers, checks, and maintaining accrual schedules on a monthly basis.
• Act as a liaison with AP and other departments.
• Assist external auditors with cycle counts and other reports.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting theory.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with focus on financial management or Diploma in Accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• Experience with ERP systems, with SYSPRO being an asset.
• Ability to multitask and juggle challenging projects and multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 3 years of work experience in similar position
