Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility and care of a 8 year old child during the absence of the parents and maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents
- Tend to emotional well-being of the child
- Assist with morning routine
- Assist with dressing and bathing
- Preparation of nutritious meals and snacks
- Organise and supervise child’s activities
- Accompany child to and from school/appointments
- Assist with homework/e-learning
- Assist with care of family pets
- Light housekeeping

Work Environment:
- Non-smoking
- Working within the employer’s home

Job Requirements:
- Education: Secondary - General Course (Diploma) Completed
- 1 year of job-related experience
- Languages: English or French
- Skills: Initiative, Organized, Judgement, Flexibility, Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills

Salary: $15.75/hour
Hours per week: 40 Hours

Basic Schedule:
Monday: 07h00-15h00 with breaks
Tuesday: 07h00-15h00 with breaks
Wednesday: 07h00-15h00 with breaks
Thursday: 07h00-15h00 with breaks
Friday: 07h00-15h00 with breaks
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off
