Overview:

Cityscape is expanding its irrigation services in the National Capital Region and is looking to hire an irrigation service technician.

Skills requirements: General knowledge of landscapes, landscape equipment, and irrigation parts.

Major Work Area/Specific Skills:
· Review as built drawings (blueprints) and work orders to install, repair and service irrigation systems
· Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
· Install, repair and service exterior prefabricated irrigation systems using hand and power tools

Additional skills: Landscape maintenance and construction, including grass cutting, trimming, garden beds, bush cutting

Experience: 2 years or more
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Terms of Employment/Job Duties:
Cityscape is looking to hire an irrigation service technician for a permanent full-time position, year-round employment for outdoor labour positions. We are looking for people who are looking to build a career in the landscaping industry.
Candidates must be able to work long hours in all weather conditions which might include working overnights and weekends.
Duties include but are not limited: following work order descriptions for scheduling and specific job duties, reviewing work orders and as built drawings (blueprints), installing replacing and maintaining exterior prefabricated products such as irrigation equipment including irrigation heads, wire, valves by using hand and power tools.
On-the-job training will be provided.

Language required: English intermediary

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Outdoor work including all weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
