Job Description
General duties as
- Prepare and cook complete meals or Japanese foods such as Katsu, Poke Bowl, fried rice, Sushi Burrito, and Maki Rolls
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Order supplies and maintains food stock and records of foods
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Cutting and trimming premium fish like salmon, tuna, or other similar varieties
