Thakkar Hospitality BC-LM Inc. DBA Tim Hortons Restaurant located at 2225 W 41st Avenue W, Vancouver BC is looking for eight permanent, full-time Food Service Supervisors to join their team as soon as possible.

Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Work Location: 2225 W 41st Avenue W, Vancouver BC V6M 2A3

Wage: $20.00 per hour; 35 hours per week

Number of positions: 8

Terms of Employment: Full-time and Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Description

Job Duties:
-Supervises team members to ensure primary and secondary duties are completed
-Provides ongoing, specific direction to team members
-Schedule shifts for staff members like team leaders, counter attendants
-Maintain adequate level of inventory and minimize stock wastage.
-Provide training to new employees
-Responds to guest service complaints in a timely manner and resolve them
-Perform same duties as workers supervised.
-Must be available to work for any shifts (morning, afternoon, evening and night) including weekends and holidays
-Assists the Restaurant Manager in driving sales and transactions during their shift
-Ensures health and safety policies are followed during the shift including documentation and reporting of any work related injuries or accidents
-Encourages an exciting and fun work environment while motivating team members to meet goals
-Leads by example and demonstrates the importance of treating every team member and guest with respect
-Works in compliance with the occupational health and safety legislation
-Complies with and enforces all Tim Hortons operating standards

Job Requirements/Skills:
-Completion of high school is required
-Knowledge of English language is required
-Minimum of one year of work experience required in a similar field.
-Must be prepared to work under pressure
